Anthony DiGiorgio

General Manager & Owner

As a Palm Harbor resident for more than 30 years, Anthony DiGiorgio is proud to serve as the General Manager and Owner of Blue Chip Baseball Academy, helping grow the game of baseball throughout the local community.

Anthony’s baseball journey began in 1991 with Dunedin National Little League. In 1995, he was part of the Senior League World Series championship team, winning the gold medal while representing American Legion Post 275 in Dunedin. He continued his playing career at Palm Harbor University High School from 1996 to 1999, where he was a pitcher, infielder and key contributor further developing the skills and competitive spirit that continue to shape his commitment to the game today.

For more than a decade, Anthony has dedicated his time to coaching his two sons youth baseball teams and mentoring young athletes. He currently serves as a local coach and board member at Palm Harbor Little League, where he remains deeply involved in developing the next generation of players.

Anthony’s passion for the game comes from teaching the details that turn young athletes into complete ballplayers. His coaching focuses on the fundamentals that build great players — proper mechanics, situational awareness, and a deep understanding of the game. Whether he’s breaking down hitting approach and pitch selection, teaching pitchers how to command the strike zone, or helping infielders develop clean footwork, timing, and throwing, Anthony emphasizes strong fundamentals, baseball IQ, and a disciplined mental approach to the game and team player.

He works with players to understand situational baseball, game awareness, and the decision-making that happens on every pitch. By focusing on repetition, attention to detail, and mental preparation, Anthony helps young athletes develop confidence, compete with purpose, and grow into fundamentally sound players both on and off the field.

Anthony’s leadership extends well beyond the baseball field. He is a U.S. Air Force Veteran (2001–2005) and served as a Tarpon Springs Police Officer from 2007 to 2014. Today, he is also a local business owner as the proprietor of DiGiorgio’s Pizzeria. Through each chapter of his career, Anthony has remained committed to leadership, accountability, and mentoring young athletes both on the field and in life.
